No one likes to feel anxious, but have you thought about what it actually does for you?

It is fear coming out to be present so you can look at it.  Is it a real fear, or perceived?

If you look at it clinically, is it probable that whatever you are worrying about is really real?  It feels real, right?

But is it?

Have you had that same thought many times, lived through it and put it to sleep before the next time?

Trust me, I am not minimizing it.

It can destroy your peacefulness and turn a beautiful day into hell for you.

But have you thought about attacking it?  Why does it have the power that it has over you?

What have you done to get control of it?

When you are feeling calm, give it a name.  Tell it that it is not invited into your life anymore. When you feel the first few moments of the anxiety, tell it to go away and that it doesn't have power over you.

Take 5 deep breaths every minute, deep belly breaths.  If you are home, go into a room alone and try to meditate.  It is one of the best ways to get control of anxiety at the moment. If you are home, it is easy to find a spot.  But what if you are out in public or in your car?

You are going to pull over, take 5 deep breaths every minute while it is happening.  If you are a meditator, you might be able to click into the sensation of meditation at that moment and recall the calm you felt.

We can't let it control our well-being.  I challenge you to try the deep breathing, isolate the feeling, and gain control over it.

I got into meditation to quiet my mind, as everyone knows I am a little hyper, lol.  It has helped and I feel more  peaceful.  Not 100 %, but I chose to take control over my life.

Please try to "go after it" and not wait til it comes to you.  Practice it nightly to get the best results.

You tube 10-Minute Meditation

Both are easy and peaceful.  Try nightly, as I have reminded you that there are 1440 minutes in a day.  You can't afford 20 for yourself?
