There are a lot of us who are overachievers, OC, pleasers, etc.  Right?  You know who you are, lol.

But when is enough too much to the point where you lose yourself?

It is a good question for anyone actually, but definitely if you are in one of the above descriptors.

Our pre-retirement lives were consumed with marriage, child rearing,, work, maybe volunteer activities, etc. When we get to retirement age we can handoff the child raising, hopefully work and possibly volunteering, etc.

Are you tired just reflecting on all that you have done?  You should be.

There is no "you" in the equation. How could there be? There are only 168 hours in a week, or to be more accurate, 1440 minutes in a day.  There hasn't been time for you?

I am again inviting you to redefine "me time".

I have been very guilty of not slowing down.  I just just renamed the players, ie projects, etc

How have you redefined "you" and your precious time.  We never know when it is the end, but make sure that when it is that day, you can look back and know that you took time for you.
