Every man that I spoke to when I mentioned going to Tennessee asked if we were going to the Jack Daniels Distillery. Of course we had to go. I don't like whiskey or bourbon, but it seems to be a Bucket List item for men. So, off we went. It is sold worldwide from Lynchburg, Tennessee. It was definitely interesting to see the process of mixing corn and rye mash together in the tubs that contain the aging formula in vats 10 ft deep. After the formula is aged the precious liquid is put in barrels that are only used once and then sold to other vendors for aging wine, etc. The barrels are made on site and that alone is remarkable to watch. The aging process takes approximately 4 years. By the way, Jack Daniels is a whiskey, not a bourbon to those of you like myself who didn't really know that fact. It is definitely a Bucket List for men especially so consider taking your guy and going there. You wont be sorry.
